Voci Armoniche accordion reeds are of the highest quality
and come from a great Italian family tradition.
Voci Armoniche was founded in 2002, by Lorenzo Antonelli and Giansandro Breccia, following the merger of two historical companies specialising in the production of reeds for acoustic harmonikas and accordions:
Antonelli (founded in 1935) and Salpa (founded in 1946).
Now available in Australia through Reedworks, we are an authorised reseller for Voci Armoniche reed plates.
"Customise your accordion and upgrade your instrument with the most important element of any accordion - a new set of Italian-made reed plates."
Voci Armoniche reed plates come in 4 different levels of quality of reeds, all made in Italy.
They are Bluesteel; A Mano; Tipo a Mano; and Super Durall reeds.

* Notes for Ordering and Installation
Reed Plate Sets For Chromatic/Piano Accordions:
Voci Armoniche reed plates are available in all 4 levels of reed quality for piano and chromatic button accordions.
Reed Plate Sets For Diatonic Accordions:
Diatonic reed plates sets are available in 'a Mano' reed plates only. (Other types have minimum order quantities for larger production runs, so are not available for individual clients.) Diatonic accordions can be converted to different keys, though there are limitations as reed blocks vary in size between keys.
Installation:
Reed plates are pre-tuned, but then also need to be valved, installed and fine-tuned into the correct size reed blocks. Precise measurements and ordering is required for a significant investment in a new set of hand made reed plates. It is therefore necessary for Reedworks to have the accordion in the workshop to determine the size and pitch of the required reeds. This is necessary for right hand reeds and left hand/bass and chord reeds, which use different size reed plates.
Unless you know how to tune an accordion, you will need the new accordion reeds to be fine tuned by Reedworks once the reed plates are correctly installed in the right order. Reeds are voiced and regulated as well as tuned.
Prices:
Prices depend on many variable such as the type of reed ordered and the size of the accordion and reed plates required. The following is a guide and depends on your configuration.
3 x Reed Set/41 keys (LMM), Valved/installed/Fine Tuning:
Super Dural Reed Plates Set - $1,880.00
Tipo a Mano Reed Plates Set - $1,990.00
A Mano Reed Plates Set - $2,180.00
BlueSteel Reed plates Set - $2,250.00

Tipo a Mano Reeds - $19.00 each

* Note that the price per individual reed plate may be more than complete sets per reed. Diatonic reeds are more expensive than chromatic reeds to make; as are bass and chord reeds for the left hand.
